My role: Lead artist for game. Created pixel art and illustrations for game assets such as environment tiles, dialogue art, and sprite design.
part 1: environment tile/asset design
Made a diverse selection of environment tiles that were repeatable on each four sides, as well as assets to go on top of them.
Part 2: sprite sheet redesign
Build a base for the sprites that converted the old 8-bit sprites into 16-bit.
part 3: illustrating dialogue art
Had to construct a unique but easily replicable style that any new artists joining the team could make.
Part 4: finishing game
After a successful Kickstarter, Condors VS. Ocelots is projected to be released around December 2019.
